Through the efforts of the community and YOU, we can continue to provide programs and activities on behalf our community. As a result of our 501(c)3 status, your gifts are tax deductible. Programs:

Trunk Party program:

We provide college essentials for first year 1st generation college students. Every year we also host a end of summer event that includes a panel of current college students and recent grads discussing ways to prepare and things to expect in college.

Training Camp:

This program focuses on goal setting and learning the essentials needed to achieve these goals such as time management, leadership and mindset.

After Path :

This program helps high school juniors and seniors prepare as best as possible for the path after high school. Whether it be the military College or joining the workforce we ensure they are best prepared. Activities include college tours resume writing mock interviews, and "a day in the life"

KT2G:

So, are you wondering what KT2G is all about? Well, wonder no more. Knowing Thinking Giving & Growing is a organization that has been established to promote higher education, teach entrepreneurship and life skills to students. We also reach out to students as young as 10 years old.

The students that have recently graduated from High School, who feel as though they will not be prepared to handle the stress of college, we are extending encouragement and bountiful support. This is why we have put in place the Trunk Party Program. This program is available to first year, first generation college students, we provide a trunk equipped with college essentials.

*We currently serve the Maryland, DC and Virginia area but want to encourage you to like and share our page, we do not want to count anyone out, nor limit who we can reach.
